Eco-Gift: Compost

One of the easiest ways to reduce our toll on the enviroment is to compost as much waste as we can as an alternative to throwing it away. In combination with recycling, composting help reduce our waste dramatically.

The grooms sister Kellee Maglio has some insight as to the benefits of composting... "Composting is an excellent alternative to using our garburator. Ground-up food clogs pipes and places additional load on the wastewater treatment plants. Composting helps reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by reducing the number of trips trucks must make to the landfill as well as the amount of methane released by our landfills."
